Privacy Policy
Sonder is a personal memory service operated by FireBringer Media Group LLC ("we"). It is invite-only while it is a prototype. This policy explains what Sonder collects, why, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
- Account details. When you sign in (with Google or email), our sign-in provider, Clerk, gives us your name, email address and profile picture, plus a user id. If you sign in with Google we request only those basic profile scopes; we do not access your Gmail, Drive, Calendar or contacts through sign-in.
- Waitlist sign-ups. If you join the waitlist we store your email address so we can invite you.
- What you put in Sonder. Entries, notes and to-dos you or your connected AI assistants write to your workspace. Each workspace is kept separate from every other workspace.
- Connections you add. If you connect another service (for example an MCP server), we store the access credentials you provide, encrypted at rest, and use them only to make the calls you ask for.
- Basic technical logs. Our hosting providers keep standard request logs (IP address, browser, time) for security and debugging.
How we use it
Only to run Sonder for you: to sign you in, store and retrieve your entries, run the integrations you set up, and keep the service secure. We do not sell your data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not use it to train AI models.
Google user data
Sonder's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Data from Google sign-in is used only to identify you and is never transferred to others except as needed to provide the service, comply with law, or with your consent.
Who processes it
Sonder runs on service providers that process data on our behalf: Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Clerk (sign-in) and, when you ask Sonder to use them, AI providers such as Google Gemini. They may only use the data to provide their service to us.
Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can ask us to export or delete your account and workspace at any time by emailing eric@fb.ltd; we delete it within 30 days, apart from backups that expire on their normal schedule.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and stored with access limited to your workspace. Stored connection credentials are encrypted. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell you promptly if a breach affects your data.
Children
Sonder is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes and contact
If we change this policy we will update the date above, and tell signed-in users about significant changes. Questions: eric@fb.ltd.
